Cell groups created in Liberia

As part of the preparations for the Global Encounter on 10th October 2020, Koiwu Scott (The Rooftop Pioneer for Liberia) has visited a community in District#3 in Montserrado County to share the vision of The Rooftop as well as the expected Global Encounter and their role in this Global Movement to Join Jesus in His Mission.

One of their strategies is to create cell groups.

This is one of the cell groups just 2km away from where the Global Encounter is to be held, therefore a Zonal Head was set up in this particular community. This Zonal Head reports to the Coordinator for that particular District.

Koiwu says: “We were very happy for the move of the Holy Spirit as our visit was very fruitful.”

Rev. Koiwu Scott, The Rooftop Pioneer for Liberia completed a special workshop on Saturday, December 7,2019 to create the awareness about our upcoming Global Encounter and to share the vision and biblical foundation of The Rooftop.

Rev. Kiowu Scott, LiberiaHe says: “Thank God for the attendance and the excitement that we saw in the eyes of the participants, as many confessed that our being there was an opportunity for an encounter with God.”

Throughout January 2020, there are a series of these workshops planned among church leaders, church workers, students in communities, towns, and cities in Liberia.

Workshop with church leaders in Liberia

In Liberia, we have started making disciples. There was a one-day workshop among church leaders and church workers held on 7th December 2019.

Koiwu Scott, the National Pioneer for Liberia, was sharing the vision of The Rooftop and the importance and involvement of believers in the upcoming Global Encounter in October 2020.

They will also be hosting a number of workshops and prayer summits in communities, towns and cities, and are believing God for a great encounter and revival across the nation.

The Rooftop begins in Liberia

I am very grateful to the Lord for His Faithfulness. Since my return to Liberia, I have started the Rooftop activities. I am presently involved in the following:

I have formed an acting advisory Board and will be explaining the activities and vision of the Rooftop to them soon. I have started to train my church members as I want them to the first Rooftop Ambassadors.


In addition, we are also involved in personal evangelism which resulted in the recent baptism of new converts.

We plan to launch both personal and large scale evangelism by September after they have first-hand information about joining Jesus in His Mission through the Rooftop.


I am also visiting churches to share the vision of the Rooftop. Gradually, we are making progress.

I am encountering a lot of challenges as it relates to communication. I am appealing to you to please help to raise funds in order to purchase a phone for use here in order to my work effective and efficient. This will help me to access Facebook, WhatsApp or Messenger in order to get information from other Rooftop members and you all.
