Christian Faith
From early childhood Rev. Oppong –Ankomah was a staunch Methodist through his father a strong Methodist Leader who planted a couple of churches. He later joined Ghana Baptist Convention as a youth in 1983 and re-baptized by immersion in 1984. He received Jesus Christ as his personal saviour and Lord in October 10,1977.

Education
Rev. Yaw Oppong –Ankomah began his Primary School Education from 1969 to 1975
He completed his Middle School Form Four education in 1979. After working a while at BP Filing station, storekeeper, welding and fabrication, he sat in for Late Entrance Examination and was admitted into Secondary School in Techiman, Ghana; where he successfully completed his General Certificate of Education at the Ordinary Level in 1989.He continued theological education at Ghana Baptist Seminary (Now Ghana Baptist University College) with Diploma in Theology and External Diploma in Religion-University of Ghana, Legon in 1995. He continued his theological studies at Maranatha Bible College, (Maranatha University College) where he completed a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and Theology-Missions Major in 2001. Subsequent to this he received further training with Minnesota Graduate School of Theology where he earned Master of Arts in Ministry(T-NET-USA,2012-2015) and now a candidate, Doctor of Ministry-Minnesota Graduate School of Theology-USA (from 2015 to date).

Ministry
He was trained as a Child Evangelist between 1977-1989
A church planter from 1987 to date, Discipleship- maker Trainer with TNET International across Africa. He Joined Ghana Baptist Convention from 1983 until now and as a Sector Head controlling 8 Associations within 4 Regions in Ghana
