My name is Lukas Ndjamba, I am 50 years of age, I was born July 16th 1968 in Okongo; a town in Namibia. I am the second born in the family, I and my twin sister named Florida Ngeve Ndjamba – I am the eldest of course.

More about Lucas

I was raised by my parents. My Mother is no longer with us, so it is only my father who is still alive, our parents were so kind and loving, and the love was unspeakable. My father’s name is Anton Seketa Ndjamba and my late Mother’s name is Maria Keke Ndjamba.
Growing up as a young boy I loved nature I was always looking after our livestock, yet that never interfered with my passion for Church. Church was always the first priority in my life and my Family’s life at large; I joined the youth choir when I was only 9 years old.
After I left school, I pursued a career in preaching and missionary work, to spread the Gospel and help the small churches to stand on their feet, with the passion of ministering, in 1989 our church decided to send me to one of the villages to serve as leader of the church for 6 Months, it was great journey there indeed a speedy and enormous growth of members.
In 1993 our Church decided to send me to the Coastal region of Namibia, in the town of Walvis Bay, yet again as an Evangelist. It was not an easy journey for me at that point of time; hence this journey had more responsibilities compared to the previous duties I was assigned to. I started the church with 4 members only, with the Grace of God and we managed to worship our living God until more members joined us, after 3 months, we had 30 members in total.
I started my theological training with “Bible Way” for a period of 3 years’ time and I got my Diploma. I was ordained as a local pastor in the year 1995. On the 28th January 1996, I got married to my lovely wife Johanna. When she came into my life, being a hardworking woman in the work of God complemented my duty as pastor. God blessed us with 4 children: two girls and two boys. In order of their birth: Musenge Rossa Ndjamba (girl); Julia Malulu Ndjamba (girl); Markus Musapana Zidan Ndjamba (boy) and Roman Flayi Ndjamba (boy).
The Lord has further blessed me so much that all my children are serving God. My two girls are worship and praise team leaders in church while the elder boy plays piano. The entire family is part of the music team. I have been studying and I’m currently at it advancing at theological bible college. The work of Lord has become a daily staple in our lives. My wife serves as the president of Women in National Baptist Convention of Namibia and I serve as Secretary General of National Baptist Convention of Namibia. This is a short overview of my life.
